About Sarah McCabe

Sarah McCabe Dublin Sleep Coach

Sarah is from the UK and had worked as a Primary School Teacher, with over 10 years experience in London schools, before starting her family. During her time as a primary school teacher, Sarah developed a passion for working with young children and their families. She taught children from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and with varying needs; something that has continued in her role as a sleep coach.

After her third child was born, the family relocated to Ireland to be closer to her husband’s family in Dublin. Sarah decided she wanted to continue to work with young children but became very interested in sleep, after struggling so much herself with sleep deprivation, when her first child was born.

Sarah enrolled in the Holistic Sleep Coach Programme, where she was mentored by Lindsay Hookway; a pediatric nurse and health visitor, who helped Sarah to fine tune a holistic approach to supporting families with improving sleep.

Sarah is certified through the Open College Network with a level 6 qualification as a Holistic Sleep Coach. She continues to coach families on a 1:1 basis, and believes there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to sleep. She takes time to get to know each family; their values, their dynamic, their struggles, and creates a personalised sleep plan to make manageable changes to improve their sleep situation.

Personalised Sleep Plan

“As a mum of three children, I understand that my suggestions have to work around the family dynamic. I will take the time to get to know your family; your values, your parenting style, what will work well around your lifestyle. I create a personalised sleep plan for each family I coach and we choose the strategies together, to make sure they are manageable but will really make a difference.”
